FCI Manager Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2019
FCI will conduct three tier selection processes to select the efficient and most deserving employee for their vacancies. The FCI Manager Selection procedure is Prelims, Mains Examinations and Interview. For FCI Manager Prelims examinations many of the candidates have already started their preparation. FCI Manager Phase I Exam Pattern:
FCI has announced various Manager Posts such as Manager – General, Depot, Movement, Accounts, Technical, Civil Engineering and Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. For these sections of posting candidates have to attend the common FCI Manager Phase I Examination. FCI Manager Phase II exam will be conducted based on their related branch of post. FCI Manager Hindi post will have separate prelims and mains exam. Here we have provided FCI Manager Prelims Exam Pattern 2019 (Paper I).

English Language:
Reading Comprehension, Cloze Test, Para jumbles, Miscellaneous, Fill in the blanks, Multiple Meaning /Error Spotting, Paragraph Completion.
Reasoning:
Logical Reasoning, Alphanumeric Series, Ranking/Direction/Alphabet Test, Data Sufficiency, Coded Inequalities, Seating Arrangement, Puzzle, Tabulation, Syllogism, Blood Relations, Input Output, Coding and Decoding.
Numerical Aptitude:
Number Series, Data Interpretation, Number Systems, Sequence & Series, Permutation, Combination & Probability, Percentage, Quadratic Equation, Profit & Loss, Average, Simple Interest & compound Interest, Ratio and Proportion, Time and Work, Speed & distance, boats & Streams, Data Sufficiency, simplification, mensuration.
FCI Manager Phase II Exam Details:
- For Manger General, Depot and Movement Posts – Candidates can attend only one paper that is – Paper I.
- For Manager Accounts, Technical, Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Posts – Candidates have to write Paper I and Paper II Exam in single sitting.
- For Manger Hindi Post – Candidates have to write Paper III and Paper IV Exams in Single Sitting.
Note:
- FCI Manager Post (except FCI Manager Hindi) Paper I is common.
- Online Test for Paper – I & Paper – II and Paper – III & Paper IV shall be held in single sitting.

- Engineering Materials & Construction Technology Selection of site for the construction, Planning and orientation of buildings, Ventilation and air conditioning, acoustics. Building and highway materials, Stones, Bricks timber, Lime, Cement Mortar, Plain and reinforced Cement Concrete, Bitumen, Asphalt.
- Building Materials: Stone, Lime, Glass, Plastics, Steel, FRP, Ceramics, Aluminium, Fly Ash, Basic Admixtures, Timber, Bricks and Aggregates Classification, properties and selection criteria, Cement etc.
- Construction Practice, Planning and Management: Construction Planning, Equipment, site investigation, Tendering Process and Contract Management, Quality Control, Productivity, Operation Cost; Land acquisition, Labor safety and welfare.
