The age limits for the posts as per the Recruitment Rules of various User Departments are:
- 18-25 years (i.e. candidates born not before 02.01.1998 and not later than 01.01.2005) for MTS and Havaldar in CBN (Department of Revenue).
- 18-27 years (i.e. candidates born not before 02.01.1996 and not later than 01.01.2005) for Havaldar in CBIC (Department of Revenue) and few posts of MTS
SSC MTS 2023 Educational Qualification:
The SSC MTS exam name itself gives the educational qualification of the examination that is combined graduate level examination. Candidates those who want to apply for SSC MTS 2023 exam must have passed Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board.
SSC MTS 2023 Selection Process:
Candidates selection will be made through 3 successive stages such as:
- Computer Based Examination (Paper 1)
- PET (Physical Eligibility Test)
- PST (Physical Standard Test) (only for the post of Havaldar)

The Commission has decided to conduct the Paper I (CBE) of Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination-2023 from April 2023.
