Hello and welcome to ExamPundit. So today was the 2nd day of IBPS Clerk V Prelims. We received a good number of reviews through email and a few genuine through our comment section. So here is the official Exam Review of IBPS Clerk V Prelims held on 6th December, 2015.
Reasoning: The directions, Seating Arrangements and Inequalities were quite easy. On the other hand, some reported the Coding-Decoding to be slightly tougher than the other problems. Overall Reasoning test was Easy to Moderate.
The average attempt varied between 26-31 in reasoning regardless of any shift.
Quantitative Aptitude: Quantitative Aptitude was again reported as Moderate. According to a good number of aspirants, the quantitative aptitude was not tough but the problems were quite calculative. The quantitative aptitude test consumed a lot time in the exam. The simplifications were reportedly of moderate level. Other questions were normal standard but calculative.
The average attempt varied between 14-19 in Quantitative Aptitude regardless of any shift.
English: English was the easiest of the lot. The comprehension was very easy. On the other hand the questions from Sentence Rearrangements, Cloze Test were very easy. All over English was very satisfying.
The average attempt varied between 23-27 in English regardless of any shift.
Overall the exam was of normal standard. However, time management will play a crucial role. Those who are not following any time-management strategy will face problem to attempt above 55.
Average attempts varied between 62-74 regardless of any shift or state.
Those who will appear in the next week’s shifts make sure you have a well prepared time-management strategy to solve the problems quickly. English and Reasoning standard might increase so please be prepared for the moderate level of questions too.
