ECONOMY
According to FICCI Survey, India’s GDP growth is 7.1% for FY20
- Federation of India Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) forecasted the India’s Median GDP growth as 7.1% for FY20 and 7.2% for FY21.
- It also estimated the minimum and maximum growth as 6.80% and 7.3% for 2019-20.
- Inflation is expected to remain Moderate.
- The Wholesale Price Index (WPI) based Inflation rate is expected to be 3.1% in 2019-20 whereas the Consumer Price Index (CPI) based Inflation rate is expected to be 4% for the same.
