  • Indore’s Devi Ahilya Bhai Holkar Airport has been declared as International Airport under sub rule(b) of rule 3 of the  Passport (Entry into India) Rules, 1950.
  • This airport is named after Maharani Ahilya Bhai Holkar who was the Holkar Queen of Maratha Malwa Kingdom, India.
  • This airport is situated in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

  • Gaganyaan Mission is scheduled for 2022.
  • MOU is signed between Air vice Marshal RGK Kapoor, Assistant Chief of Ai Staff Operations and R Hutton, Project Director of Gaganyaan.
  • Gaganyaan Project was announced by PM Narendra Modi on 15th August, 2018.
  • Under this mission a three member team will spend at least seven days in Space.
  • Government approved the amount of Rs 10,000 crore in the last Budget.
