My Mother

Mother is always the first teacher, the first friend, the first adviser and the first love of everyone’s life. Remember the time she taught us to write and now we teach her to swipe her fingers across the screen on the phone. At times of distress she is the savior. She can help one see the light at the end of the tunnel. The brimming optimism and the sheer determination defines her. She is never weak, She is Strong! She is the strength of her family; The strength of the society. 

There is no specific day for celebrating Mother’s Day. Every day is Mother’s Day. Celebrate the love by caring for her. Calling her once is not how it is suppose to be.  Once one moves out of the house life gets difficult, which she is aware of. The well-being of her child is her top priority and her happiness should be yours. Mother is strange. Strange enough to love, to care, to help, to shelter you through her words. She is the backbone of one’s life.

One day we will be parents and may be then we can decode her love and know how and why SHE is so strange. The selfless love is the strangest thing one can imagine. Mother is not just mother to her offspring she is mother to the stray she feeds every day, mother to the pet she has, mother to the homeless kid she provides bread, mother to the victim of a calamity. Her emotions are intertwined with kindness.

You are the source of energy of the universe. Everyone and everything runs because of you. The world owes you the love you provide, you shall not be deprived of that.

A mother's arms are made of tenderness and children sleep soundly in them.
