Analysis

Prediction For Remaining IBPS Clerk 2014 Examinations

Reasoning – So far reasoning was more or less easy. Puzzles, Arrangements, Syllogisms were mostly easy. People having a basic grip felt happy while solving the problems. So, based on this year’s exam trend you should be doing Easy to Moderate problems. Seating Arrangements are coming different of types, as we know, Parallel Seating Arrangement problem came twice in two weeks. So prepare yourself with Square, Rectangular and Parallel Seating Arrangements. Also do some moderately tough Puzzles and Syllogisms.

Quantitative Aptitude – Quantitative Aptitude has raised a few eyebrows so far. Many of the students reported Quantitative Aptitude to be “Tough” “Lengthy” “Time-Consuming” “Calculative”. Hence you should be preparing very seriously. Time management and speedy calculations will play a crucial role in your attempt. Data Interpretation has been easiest in this section so far, but some felt it was time-consuming.  So prepare some tricky questions and lengthy also.

English Language – 90% of the student reported English to be very easy. Comprehensions were very easy. Although few said, banking related comprehension makes it bit uneasy. Many said Comprehension and Sentence Rearrangements consumed a lot of time. So you should be prepared for some long and time consuming Comprehensions. Also expect some good quality Cloze test.

General Awareness – As we have noticed, IBPS has followed a predictable pattern in General Awareness. Questions of Census came also Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana questions came. Study the important international and national dates from September 15 – December 31(But you should not stop studying other dates, these are just important as this pattern is coming so far). Countries and Capitals are coming from not-so-famous countries. So study Countries and Capitals as much as possible. Also this week, many quizzes will be given, so keep visiting.

Computer Knowledge – Computer has consistently been easy. 99% student were happy seeing the questions came. Mainly, very basic acronyms and operational short cuts shall be prepared. Also have basic knowledge in OS and Related things. No need to go in-depth in Hardware. Just have a basic yet good grip in Computer and you are good to go.

CONCLUSION – The exams have been mostly easy but does not mean it will be. You have to study more hard because of 2 reasons. 1 – You are going in 3rd week so you can expect questions to be hard suddenly and 2 – Already people have attempted 120-170 on an average range of 50-90% accuracy, so expect the cut-off to go very high this year.

Study hard, be patient and keep calm. Trust GOD.

All The Best
