Hello and welcome to ExamPundit. Today we will be describing simple way to solve Sentence Rearrangements faster than ever in Banking and Insurance Examinations.
A lot of students have asked team exampundit to provide tutorials.

We are a small team and we work level best to give you what you deserve. Sometimes we get late, but we promise to help you all with all the efforts.

NOW! Let’s get to the basics. Every Sentence Re-Arrangements have a thing in common. You just have to look for it and voila! You will solve it faster than Flash!

Every Sentence Re-Arrangements are divided into 7-8 points and we have to rearrange them in a grammatically correct and meaningfully into a paragraph. Every question has 3 parts, Subject, Body & Conclusion. Most difficult part is to detect the Subject.
Here is how you will solve it.

  • Step 1. Read the whole problem. Reading is very necessary for any kind of English language problems.
We recommend you to read English newspapers or whatever you get, read them nicely so that your speed goes up.
  • Step 2. Detect the theme. Once you complete reading, you will know what it is trying to say.
  • Step 3. As per the theme choose the point which cannot go after the other lines.
It is very easy, you just have to understand the theme.
  • Step 4. Now look for what comes after the first.
Don’t look for the conclusion at the beginning. Once you choose your title, just look for the follow ups.  To perform these in a faster way you have to make sure you have understood the Theme of the paragraph.
  • Step 5. Look for the point which cannot have a follow up.
  • Step 6. Apply the combination in the answer and you will answer them all easily.

Tip: A good Vocabulary will drive you easily!

Now, let’s give an example.

Let’s take this:

(A) There were apprehensions in the community.
(B) She wants to become a doctor now and I will do whatever it takes to fulfill her dream.
(C) But I was desperate to provide good education to my daughter.
(D) There is a lot of talk about RTE but most of the private schools are taking it as enforcement.
(E) I had to walk down to the school three years ago to get an application form as I had no money for the fare.
(F) Even others learn to be sensitive and that’s the beginning of a better society.
(G) We have been teaching poor children for many years and they settle really well.

After reading this, we can understand it is about Education & Economy. The person is describing the education and economic problems in the society.

Now, look for the title. Did you get it? As he is describing it, the FIRST point will be (A). Why?

Because you see although G and D was a tough contender but they can easily be linked with the other points. Only A stands alone!

As we know the theme, we will look for the Second, Third & Fourth points. F and G is clearly indicated as Conclusion so we are not focusing on them.

“But” I was desperate….. clearly states that it should be after A. Because it makes a meaningful para.

Now remains, B, D and E. E clearly needs a reason, why did he walk? And D is not sufficient as the answer. So, B comes before E and D comes after.
Now, look at F, it ends the topic, “that’s the beginning of a better society”
it cannot be followed up by G. So F is the conclusion and G comes before F.

Now, after reading this, you might feel confused, or you might think it is very lengthy. But frankly, NO. All you have to do is implanting this method in Sentence Re-arrangements and practice. After 4-5 attempts, WE ASSURE you will do it much faster than before.
