TNPSC Group 2 Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2021:
TNPSC Official board Conducts Group II (CCSE -II) exams for Group 2 & 2A posts. Before start preparation for the exam it is advisable to go to know about the exam pattern and syllabus.
The TNPSC Group 2 Exam consists of two divisions.
- TNPSC Group 2 (interview posts)
- TNPSC Group 2a (Non interview posts)

TNPSC Group 2 Exam pattern 2021:
TNPSC Group 2 exam is responsible for both interview and non interview posts. candidates are selected on the basis of the following stages of exam. The candidates will have to clear each stage of the exam to move to the next phase.
- Preliminary exam
- Mains exam
- Interview ( only for Group 2 posts)

TNPSC Group 2 Prelims Exam questions based on Multiple objective type. Minimum qualifying marks for prelims exam is 90 out of 300 marks. There are a total of 200 questions which is from 175 general studies based on degree standard and 25 aptitude and mental ability test questions based on SSLC level.

Candidates who qualify in TNPSC Group 2 preliminary exam will be eligible for the mains level. TNPSC Group 2 mains exam consists of paper l and paper ll. Candidates should take the adequate marks in paper l then only paper ll will be evaluated.

TNPSC Group 2 Age limit:
TNPSC Group 2 Exam age limit is 18 years to 30 years for general category candidates. There is no maximum upper age limit for SC/ST/BC/MBC reserved category candidates.

Candidates should possess a minimum degree qualification to attain the TNPSC Group 2 interview and non interview posts exam.

- For non interview posts Mains written exam qualified candidates will go to the final selection.
