The Fighter’s Puzzle Test for Bank PO – July 8, 2016

Puzzle 1:

Four males and females namely R,
Q, R, S, T, U, V and W are sitting around a square table in such a way that
four of them sit at the four corners of the square table while four sit in the
middle of each of four sides. The ones who sit at the four corners face the center
while those who sit in the middle of the sides face outside. Two females sit in
the middle of the sides and two at the corners. P sits second to the left of V.
V sits on the middle of one of the sides. R sits fourth to the right of his
wife and his wife is not an immediate neighbour of P or V. Q sits third to the
right of her husband. Q does not sit at any of the corners. Only S sits between
G and W. W is the husband of P. Both V and T are males.

Puzzle 2:

Seven boys Farhan, Javed, Monish,
Sareen, Aman, Bimal and Kamal stay in three different localities in Delhi viz.
Saket. Green Park and Hauz Khas. Each locality has at least one of the given
boys. Each one of them studies seven different subjects viz. History, Accountancy,
Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Botany but not necessarily in the
same order.

(i) Bimal is staying in Green
Park and studies Mathematics.

(ii) The boys who study Chemistry
and Accountancy stay in the same locality.

(iii) Monish studies Physics but
does not stay in Saket.

(iv) Farhan is staying in Hauz
Khas with Monish and studies Geology.

(v) Aman studies Botany and stays
in Green Park.

(vi) Sareen studies neither
Accountancy nor Chemistry and stays in Hauz Khas.

(vii) Javed does not study
Chemistry.

Puzzle 3:

Eight persons Of Q, P, G, S, M, W
and Z are living in a building. There are eight floors in a building. Each of
them is living at each floor. There is a part/ in floors 2 and 7. Four people
are going to the party of floor 2 and remaining persons are going to the party
of floor 7. In the party of floor 2, people are playing a game. They all are
sitting in circular table and facing towards the center. People of other party
are also playing a game and they all are sitting in a square table and facing
opposite to the center. O lives at floor 4 and he is not going in the party of
floor 7. Q is the best friend of O and is going with him. P and Z are not going
in a party where S is going. S and M live at floors 3 and 1respectively. In a
game G is second to the right of O and W is opposite of P. Regarding floor Q is
not a neighbour of O and lives between Z and P. W lives at 5th floor.
