Eligibility Criteria:
The candidates who are applying for the SSC GD have to make sure that they possess the required qualification mentioned in the eligibility criteria.
Nationality/ Citizenship:
Candidate must be a citizen of India. Vacancies in CAPFs & AR are state/UT/area wise hence a candidate must submit domicile/PRC against his state/ UT.
Age Limit & Age Relaxation:
18-23 years as on 01-01-2023. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02-01-2000 and later than 01-01-2005 in normal course. However, after relaxation of three (03) years in upper age, the candidate should not have been born earlier than 02-01-1997.

Educational Qualification:
The candidate must have passed Matriculation or class 10th examination from a recognized board / University.

The candidates who wish to apply for the application form of SSC GD apply online 2022 process should check the following steps to make the application process in the space below.
- Candidates will have to visit the official website of ssc. nic. in,
- Thereafter they will have to click on the candidate’s corner and click on the SSC GD apply online 2022 link,
- The candidates will then have to Log in with the credentials they submitted during the application form. If a candidate is a new user he/she will have to create a new account by entering the name, age, gender etc of the candidate.
- Post this, the candidates will have to enter their academic qualification and press the submit button
- On the next page, the candidates are required to provide their correspondence and permanent address.
- The candidates must note down the login credential generated upon completion of SSC GD apply online 2022 registration and keep it safe as it will be required upon taking the exam.
- Once the SSC GD apply online 2022 registration process is completed, the candidates will have to log in with the credentials generated.
- Thereafter, the candidates will be required to enter all important details such as the candidate’s name, age, gender, father and mother’s name etc.
- On the next page, the candidates will have to upload their scanned copies of the photo and signature.

The last step involves payment of application fees using SBI Challan / SBI net banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, or maestro credit or debit card.

Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC),
Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are
exempted from payment of fee.

Exam Pattern:
