SBI PO Exam Pattern 2021 – Selection Process
Selection process of SBI PO 2021 mainly consists of two stages, Online Examination & Interview Process. Online Exam has two phases, namely Preliminary examination and Mains examination + Descriptive Test. Candidates should clear both Online Examination & Personal Interview to get in to Final Selection. Prelims Exam Pattern SBI PO 2021:
Online Preliminary Examination consists of three sections; English Language, Reasoning Ability, and Numerical Ability.

Short listing for Mains Exam: There is No Sectional Cut off marks for SBI PO Pre Exam, candidates appeared in the Prelims examination will be shortlisted in each category (GEN, OBC. etc) for mains on the basis of aggregate marks secured in the prelims. Approximately calculating 10 times the number from the Total Vacancies in each category will be shortlisted for SBI PO Mains exam from the top scorers in the list.
Negative Marks: Candidates will get +1 mark for each correct answer and -0.25 marks for each wrong answers. No marks will be deducted for the unanswered questions.

SBI PO Mains Exam Pattern 2021:
Online SBI PO Mains Examination is one of the challenging examinations for all aspirants. SBI PO Mains Exam Pattern consists of four sections such as Data Analysis & Interpretation, Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, English Language & General / Economy and Banking Awareness. Immediately after completing the Mains Exam, Online Descriptive Test will be conducted, this consists of two questions for 50 marks. Time duration will be 30 minutes for Descriptive Test and you need to type an Essay Writing & Letter Writing on given topic.

Negative Marks: In SBI PO Mains Examination, Candidates will be deducted with -0.25 marks for each wrong answers. No marks will be deducted for the unanswered questions.
Interview Process:
Aspirants who cleared SBI PO Prelims & Mains Examination will be invited for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Topic will be given for Group discussion and candidates should share their ideas about the topic. Members from selection panel will monitor the candidate’s performance in GD and provide mark for the same. Total marks for Group Discussion was 20 marks. In Personal interview, panel members will ask from General Knowledge, Banking Awareness & financial awareness. You must be prepared for this and total marks will be 30 for Personal Interview.
Final Selection – SBI PO 2021:
State Bank of India will prepare merit list once a candidate completed the Personal Interview. This Merit list will be prepared based on the marks secured in Mains Examination and Interview. SBI will fix the Cut off marks on the basis of the available vacancies & marks scored by the candidates. Finally the candidates who cleared the Final Cut off will be selected as the Probationary Officer in State Bank of India and SBI will send the Appointment Order to the Candidates.
