Examination Format

  • English Language – 30 Questions – 30 Marks
  • Quantitative Aptitude – 35 Questions – 35 Marks
  • Reasoning Ability –  – 35 Questions – 35 Marks

Total Time: 1 Hour/60 Minutes

Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing passing marks to be decided by the Bank. Which means, there will be Sectional Cut-off too.

What to study for SBI PO Prelims 2015 – Last Minute
One of the most important thing about SBI PO Prelims is that
it will test your analytical and logical abilities to some extent. Also, there
is No Assurance of Any Specific Type of Question will appear for Sure. However,
the most common questions in Bank PO Exams are expected.
Reasoning: For
reasoning, you need to focus on Input/Output problems, Syllogisms, Puzzle,
Seating Arrangements, Coding-Decoding, Statement & Arguments, Statement and
Assumptions, Course of Action, Blood Relation Test and Some other Mixed
Problems. Over the past few months, in the previous examinations Puzzle and
Seating Arrangements problems have been a troublesome, so practice them
properly. You can also download some PDFs from the website.
Quantitative
Aptitude:
Perhaps, the Most talked subject this year. From the beginning of
2015, Quantitative Aptitude is giving headaches to many people. Focus on the
Simplifications and Calculations as they will help you to overcome a lot of
problems in this subject. For SBI PO Prelims, Expect One or Maximum of 2 Data
Interpretation Problems. Alongside that, focus on questions from Profit &
Loss, Average, Time and Distance, Time and Work, Simple and Compound Interest,
Probability, Area based problems primarily. Practice and manage time properly.

English Language:
English is the most common weak zone for everyone but it is not Tough. So,
focus on Comprehension, Sentence Rearrangements, Cloze Test, Fill in the blanks
with Verb, Vocabulary. Improve your vocabulary too. Try to maintain calmness in
this part and you will be good to go. 
Expectations

This is the First Time. So we do not have 100% assurance of the Expectations but still, based on the recent trends and your performance we are giving it.

English Language – Standard – Moderate
Reasoning – Moderate – Tough
Quantitative Aptitude – Moderate(Calculative) – Tough
