This merging of bank will come to force from next financial year. So this recruitment vacancy reduction may be affected from next financial year.

Merger of Public Sector Banks in India – Advantage:

Some people share their thoughts in positive manner, they are even though the merger of bank is done, and reduction in bank branches takes place. It will not affect the recruitment vacancies. For examples, Indian overseas bank having no recruitment since 2004 because IOB bank is under Prompt Corrective Action commonly called as PCA. Banks under PCA will not make the recruitment to hire their employees. So after merger of bank is India take place, banks under PCA will come out and decreasing their NPA (Non Performing Asserts) more employees will be needed for their bank. As a result, automatically recruitment will be announced for huge vacancies.

Even though banks are equipped with electronic systems, human power resources must be needed. After merging the banks into BOB, comparatively the number of vacancies released is high than previous recruitment. This statement is common for all bank recruitments not about BOB.
