Exam Review – SBI PO Prelims 2015 – 21 June – 1st Shift



Hello and welcome to ExamPundit. Here is a brief review of SBI PO Prelims 21st June, 2015’s 1st Shift.


Reasoning: Reasoning was mostly “Easy to Standard” for most of the students. There was questions from Seating arrangement, Syllogism, Directions, Blood Relations.


​1. Puzzles-  3*5= 15
a. 7 ppl sitting in a straight line facing north
b. 8 ppl living in 8 diff floors having passion for 8 diff games lyk polo,chess etc
c. sitting arrangement, inward & outward …. ( no doubt skipped it 😛 )
2. syllogisms- (possibility/some are not.types etc.) -5
3. blood relation- 3 & direction -2
4. Inequalities- 5
5. Coding- 5 




Quantitative Aptitude: Quantitative Aptitude was Moderate for most of the aspirants. There was as usual, 2 Data Interpretations which was on: 1. Market and Legal Expense Table and 2. A line graph on NO OF  products M & N sold in 5 diff months Jan to May. There were quadratic equations/inequalities  calculations (apprx value), 2 mensurations (rectangle & square only )
All over quantitative aptitude was Moderate for most of the candidates.


English: English was Easy to Moderate. The passage was lengthy and it was time consuming. On the other hand, the Cloze Test and Sentence Rearrangements were “Moderate to Tough”. 
1. error corrections- 5 (easy)
2.  Fill up- 5 (easy)
3.  Passage ( how customer behavior is gradually changing/ gradual diversities in markets like supermarkets,luxury malls, local market etc) – 10 (moderate)
4.  rearrangements- 5
5.  cloze test -5 (easy)



Overall the attempts varied between 56-64 regardless of any category.
