Hello and welcome to exampundit. Here are the puzzle for today of the new segment, “the fighter’s Puzzle Test for Bank PO”.

The answers will be discussed by the aspirants at the end of the day.

The fighter, Chitrarth are in-charge of this segment.

Puzzle 1:
L, N, P, R, M, Q, T and Y are the
members of a committee sitting around a circular table but not facing the
centre. Each member has a different zodiac sign, viz Leo, Virgo, Libra, Cancer,
Aries, Gemini, Pisces and Scorpio, but not necessarily in the same order. T is
third to the right of P. The one whose sun-sign Leo is second to the left of
the one whose sunsign is Libra. Y’s sun-sign is Libra and is sitting exactly
between P and L. The one whose sun-sign is Pisces sits second to the right of
N. The one whose sun-sign is Aries is second to the right of the person whose
sun-sign is Gemini. P sits third to the left of the person whose sun-sign is
Virgo. Neither Q nor L is the immediate neighbour of N. Q is fourth to the left
of L. N’s sun-sign is neither Cancer nor Ariel. The person whose sun-sign is
Leo is sitting second to the right of the person whose sign is Cancer. R’s
sun-sign is Leo and is not an immediate neighbor of N.
Puzzle 2:
(i) Seven persons A, B, C, D, E,
F and G are teaching seven subjects History, Geography, Physics, Chemistry,
Maths, Biology and English from Monday to Friday. Each person teaches a
different subject and not more than two subjects are taught on any one of the
days.
(ii) Chemistry is taught by B on
Tuesday.
(iii) D teaches on Friday but
neither Geography nor Physics.
(iv) F teaches History but
neither on Thursday nor on Friday.
(v) A teaches English on the day
on which History is taught.
(vi) C teaches Maths on Monday.
(vii) Geography and Chemistry are
taught on the same day.
(viii) G teaches on Thursday
Puzzle 3:
In row 1, J, K, L and M are
sitting and all of them are facing north. In row 2, A, B, C and D are sitting
and all of them are facing south. Therefore, in the given seating arrangement
each member sitting in a row faces another member of the other row. (All the
information given above does not necessarily represent the order of seating as
in the final arrangement.)
• The person from Infosys faces
the one who is on the immediate left of L. L is neither from Google nor from
Facebook.
• An immediate neighbour of A
faces the person from Accenture. The person from Microsoft faces the person who
is on the left of the person from Google.
• There is only are person
sitting between the persons from Google and TCS but that person is not J. The
persons from Google and Facebook are not sitting at the extreme ends.
• B sits on the immediate left of
the person from Infosys. Persons from IBM and Microsoft are immediate
neighbours. C and K are not sitting at any of the ends.
• M faces the one who is sitting
on the immediate right of the person from Microsoft. A is not from Microsoft or
IBM.

Puzzle 4:
Eight friends—Aman, Bharat,
Rohit, Dinesh, Ishant, Farhan, Aditya and Hirender—are sitting around a
circular table, facing the centre but not necessarily in the same order. Each
of them has a different designation, viz Banker, Teacher, Company MD,
Politician, Corporate Leader, General Manager, Specialist Officer and CEO. Aman
sits third to the right of the CEO. Only two people sit between the CEO and
Hirender. The Specialist Officer and the Company MD are immediate neighbours.
Neither Aman nor Hirender is either a Specialist Officer or a Company MD. The
Specialist Officer is not an immediate neighbour of the CEO. The Banker sits
second to the left of Ishant. Ishant is not an immediate neighbour of Hirender.
The Banker is an immediate neighbour of both the Politician and the Corporate
Leader. The Corporate Leader sits third to the right of Bharat. Bharat is not a
Specialist Officer. Rohit sits on the immediate right of the Teacher. Aman is
not a Teacher. Farhan is not an immediate neighbour of Aman. Aditya is not an
immediate neighbour of the Banker.
