English is not expected to be very tough. You have to practice a lot of Prepositions, Idioms & Proverbs and other basic Grammar questions. However, you should expect good quality Grammar questions. Error Correction, Synonyms & Antonyms and Analogies are important.

The Comprehension part is expected to be from basic stories. Unlike Bank Exams, WBSEDCL Office Executive does not have high difficulty level in Comprehension.

Those who are accustomed with Banking Exams, prepare it like IBPS Clerk Comprehensions.

The WBSEDCL Office Executive Exam have a separate section totally based on DI, DA and DS.

The DIs are usually moderate level and they are usually based on Table, Pie, Bar and Graph. And, there were NO MISSING DATA PROBLEMS in the past and we expect the same for the upcoming as well.

Similarly, Data Sufficiency will have moderate questions and can take a lot time if you have not practiced. So practice a lot.

Reasoning Questions have always been moderate due to the Shape Based Problems. So it is advised to practice reasoning from the SSC CHSL/CGL Question Papers. Similarly, Blood Relations, Statement & Conclusions, Seating Arrangements, Shape Based Problems and Analogies are mainly important.

Don’t over study reasoning neither take it lightly. Just focus on the moderate problems which usually appears in Postal, SSC CHSL and CGL Exams. However, don’t go after the HARD SSC CGL Problems as it will not help you in anyway.

Things to look out for in Reasoning:

  • Syllogisms
  • Analogies
  • Shape Based Problems
  • Blood Relations
  • Seating Arrangements

Computer Awareness (MS Office):

The computer awareness test will only have question from MS Office. Till last year(2017), there were no question from MS Office 2013. So, You need to focus and study MS Office 2003/2007. The Excel Short-cuts, Tabs, Names and Various actions are the most important. On the other hand, MS Word and MS PowerPoint are equally important.

So, No need to study in-depth of “MS OneNote”. “MS Access”, “MS InfoPath”, “MS Lync” and “MS Outlook”.
