Selection Procedure of IBPS RRB

Hello and welcome to ExamPundit. Most of our group members are unclear about the selection process of the IBPS RRB. There are loads of Official info on it but very few stated it in simple language. So we have decided to tell the selection process simply yet correctly.

Say, there are 10 students who has “Minimum Qualification Marks” in IBPS RRB.

Now, ABC, XYZ and MNO bank has issued recruitment notice shortly after the result. Usually, 4-6 weeks after results.

Now the 10 student has the following marks(example) :
1. 110 (Lowest marks)
2. 120
3. 125
4. 130
5. 140
6. 150
7. 155
8. 160
9. 165
10. 170 (Highest Marks)

Now, the banks who called up first will call up the top candidates. For eg. here 10, 9, 8 and 7 will get call up. And suppose all of them get jobs in the ABC, XYZ and MNO Bank. Now they select ABC and MNO. XYZ will again issue recruitment notice after a long time and then 6.5.4 and 3 will get call. This will repeat a whole year and after the year those who did not clear will be rejected and those who got will be doing the job.

Clearing the Minimum Marks DOES NOT SECURE your Interview Place or JOB.

So, you can’t predict ANY CUT OFF in this exam because Person A who got 150 might get rejected or reject the offer and Person B who got 125 might get the job in the later recruitment notice.

Note: Banks will release recruitment notification as per their criteria and if you are eligible then you can apply . You have to keep checking Bank website for the recruitment notice. You have to again “PAY” for application.

So hope for the best. Good Luck.

Regards
