Selection Process for RRB Group D:    

The selection process for RRB group D is below,   

1. COMPUTER BASED TEST (CBT)
2. PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TESTS (PET)
3. DOCUMENT VERIFICATION AND EMPANELING OF SELECTED CANDIDATES
4. MEDICAL TEST

1. COMPUTER BASED TEST (CBT):

The Online Computer Based Test consists are the below topics,   

• Mathematics
• General science
• General Intelligence & Reasoning
• General knowledge

There shall be negative marking for incorrect answers in the CBT. 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be deducted for the wrong answer.  Candidates can get the detailed topics to prepare in the RRB Group D Syllabus.

 

2. PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TESTS (PET):

Based on the score of the candidates in the CBT exam, the candidates will be called for PET. Let us see the criteria below   

Male candidate:  

The male candidate Should be able to lift and carry 35 kg of weight for 100 meters within 2 minutes. He should run for 1000 meters in 4 minutes 15 seconds.   

Female Candidate:  

The female candidate should be able to lift and carry 20 kg of weight for 100 meters within 2 minutes. She should be able to run for 1000 meters in 5 minutes 40 seconds.   

 

3. DOCUMENT VERIFICATION AND EMPANELING OF SELECTED CANDIDATES:

Based on the performance in the CBT test, the candidates will be called for document verification.   It is mandatory to clear the document verification processs.

4. MEDICAL TEST:

All the candidates who are found eligible after document and candidature verification are referred to the next process which is a medical test.
