RRB ALP Exam Pattern and Syllabus 2018

Railway Recruitment Board conducts RRB ALP exam to recruit the Assistant Loco Pilots. The total number of vacancies by the RRB are 26502. The exam is conducted in two stages, the first stage is a computer based test (CBT). Those who get qualified in the first stage will be able to appear in the second stage of CBT. This article attempts to provide the exam pattern and syllabus.

RRB ALP Exam Pattern:

 

The candidates need to qualify the exam by securing cut off marks which will be decided by the RRB. Given below is the pattern for first stage of exam.

RRB ALP Second Stage Exam:

In this stage, there will be negative marking for the wrong answer. 1/3 rd marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer as penalty from the final score.
