Railway Group D one month preparation Plan

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducts the entrance exam for Group D and technician recruitment. The notification that was published shows 62907 vacancies for the post of Group D. Earlier, an article about the selection process was published. This article intends to provide the preparation tips for RRB Group D exam.

Tips for General Awareness Section:

  • Go through the Current Affairs, Economics, Politics, History, Geography, Railways related Questions. Following news channels and newspapers is the best way to develop general awareness.
  • Prepare by referring to The Manorama Year Book.
  • Take quizzes that are available online.
  • One of the very effective ways to prepare for General Awareness is by group study, share the information you have, let others also provide some information.

Tips for Arithmetic Ability:

  • Revise the formulae that you may have studied in class 8th. Prepare right from the basics onwards, like Profit & Loss, Interest Calculation, Area/Volume, flow rate, work, numbers, ratio, algebra, trigonometry etc. You must by heart the formulae that are required to solve the problems.
  • Understand the concepts well.
  • It is utmost important to manage your time effectively.
  • Solve RRB Group D online test series , practice model papers.
  • The self-assessment tests are important to improve your accuracy and speed.

General Intelligence/Reasoning:

  • The General Intelligence questions come from series, direction, rotation, sequence, symmetry, relations, etc. Practice from the RRB Group d previous year question papers.
