Solutions

1)Sudhirs present age =4x
Madan ‘s present age =5x
After 5 years
Sudhir’s age becomes 4x+5
Madan’s age becomes 5x+5
(4x+5)/(5x+5)=5:6
Find x
and then Sudhir’s age 4x=20

2)
5 years ago
Let Lasta’s sons age be x
Lata’s age b 2x
after 5 +10 =15 years
(2x+15)/(x+15)=4/3
find x
present age of Lata =2x+5=20

3)Kunal and ganesh age = 3x and 5x respectively
4 years later also difference will be same
2x=12
x=6
Kunals present age is 3x=18
None of these is answer

4)Father’s present age =45+4=49 years
SOn is 25 years younger than him
So son’s present age =24 years
total age after 5 years of bth =49+5+24+5=83

5)2x+10 +3x+10+4x+10=93
x=7
We need present age of Sameer=4x=28

6)10 years ago
age of pradip and his father was
x and 5x
Now it is x+10 and 5x+10
after 6 years it will be
x+16 and 5x+16
(x+16)/(5x+16)=3/7
find x
Prddepi’s father present age=5x+10=50

7)1 year ago A and b x and 2x
now x+1 and 2x+1 respectively
After 1 year
A and B are x+2 and 2x+2
(x+2)/(2x+2)=5/6
x=1
required B present age =4x+1=5
nt in solution

8)3:5
8x=80
x=10
30+10:50+10
4:6=2:3

9)6 years ago
Sushil and Sancheet
are 3x and x respectively
Now
3x+6 and x+6
after 6 years
3x+12 and x+12
(3x+12)/(x+12)=5/3
x=6
Present age of sancheet =6+6=12

10) Again difference =6 years
3x-2x=6

Jayant age=2x=12
