Reasoning – Reasoning will be
simple but it may be tricky. Practice seating arrangements which will not have
two or more possibilities. Practice the puzzles and statements and conclusions.
Basic concept of syllogisms will be needed but the difficulty level will not be
at PO/AO levels. In short, you don’t need to go into much details .
English Language
You will be given a few articles on English Language shortly. So make sure you
check our website regularly. Practice Cloze tests and Sentence rearrangements
because they are going to fetch you a good score. In one word, English will be
tricky. Practice a lot!
Numerical Ability – Data interpretation will be there but it may be calculative. Give
adequate attention to the calculations part. Practice them.  Apart from that, problems based on interests,
profit and loss, average and other common topics are important.
Computer Knowledge – Basic idea on computers is required. This section will be very
easy if you study the fundamental topics like hardware, OS and other common
software, networks and computer peripherals.  
General Awareness: For General Awareness of Insurance Exams, you need to study four
basic topics.
I. Insurance Awareness
II. Banking and Finance Awareness
III. Current Affairs
IV. Geographical General Knowledge
Insurance
Awareness will comprise various Insurance JVs, Terms, Insurance Rules and Amendments,
Insurance related Committees or anything recently in news.
For Banking Awareness
and Financial Awareness you need to study the basics similar to what you study
for Bank Clerk Exams.
On the other
hand, Current Affairs should be studied from June, 1 to August 12th
to have more common questions. Finally, Geographical GKs as in Places, Capitals,
Currency, Monuments and Other Publicly famous places.
The Magazine
will be provided this week.
