The total marks of the examination will be 200. Candidates who qualify the online Examination will be
shortlisted for Interview on the basis of over all marks scored in objective and descriptive section
taken together against full marks of 200.

What to study for OICL AO 2015 – Generalist

First of all, whatever you study, make sure those are up to the mark. So what do you need to study for OICL AO 2015?

Reasoning – Practice, confusing and time taking puzzles, seating arrangements. Syllogisms can be standard ones but with practice they can seem easy. The coding-decoding, input-output are expected as normal standard. So practice, learn to manage time and improve your concentration for reasoning part.

English – Like we always say, good knowledge in grammar will help you to score maximum in English. Comprehension and Cloze Test can fetch you maximum marks, so practice them. Error Corrections can be tricky at times, make sure you are practicing them regularly.

General Awareness – For general awareness section, we have already told you what to study, what not to. We have also been giving Expected Questions on a regular basis. So don’t be worried, keep calm and study. Go through the various names of Bird Sanctuaries, National Parks, Reserves, Tribal Festivals, Folk Dances, Arts of many tribes. Insurance Awareness (eg. Insurance JVs) is necessary for the examination. So make sure your have gone through Insurance Awareness questions.

Quantitative Aptitude – Last but recently emerged as the toughest section. Prepare the calculative questions very well. Make sure you are well acquainted with tough DIs. Don’t push yourself to the limit in the examination hall, if you are stuck in one, move to the next, don’t spend most of the time on few questions. The arithmetic portion has been, tricky and confusing, so prepare them wisely.

Descriptive – We have already describe, How to Prepare for Online Descriptive Tests. So go through it and make sure you are not committing mistakes while writing.

What to study for OICL AO – Specialists

The above mentioned is sufficient for the general parts of the Specialist Exam. For professional knowledge, study a lot of theoretical questions from your Bachelor’s/Master’s. Make sure you are having a vast knowledge and in-depth views on the subjects you have studied. The Marketing, Accounting students will have to go through theoretical questions as well as some practical examples.
