These vacancies will be spread across different branches of NIACL in India. There are only 19 days left for the prelims and this really is the time which is going to make a difference.

We’re saying this because a lot of students apply for this vacancy and you need to outdo a lot of competition to qualify for the mains exam.

Let’s quickly have a look at the exam pattern of prelims. Questions will be asked in the below 3 sections:

Section Questions Maximum marks Duration
English 30 30 Composite time of 60 minutes
Reasoning Ability 35 35
Numerical Aptitude 35 35
Total 100 100

A Race against Time

By having a look at the exam pattern, you must have got an idea that you need to race against time when you will be appearing for this exam. You hardly get 36 seconds per question. Lakhs of competitors and shortage of time make clearing this test a challenging task. But don’t worry, mock tests can help you here.

Mock tests are replicas of the actual test in terms of number of questions and more importantly, their difficulty level. These tests are carefully curated keeping past years’ tests in mind.

Mock Tests are here to help

Just like you take the actual test in the examination hall, mock tests let you take the test on a computer screen. Once 60 minutes are over, the test is submitted automatically and you get your test report instantly.

This report encompasses detailed explanation of the questions you did incorrectly. This helps you identify the mistake so that you don’t repeat it in the actual exam. You also get an analysis which tells you your weak areas so that you can work and improve on it.

Rank makes a difference

When the number of competitors is a huge, you would obviously like to know where do you stand. This is important because once you know your rank you can prepare accordingly to be in the top. Remember that a majority of the competitors know different concepts and shortcuts of English, Reasoning Ability and Numerical Aptitude.

It is the skill of using shortcuts real quick which matters and can sail you through this exam. Mastering this skill comes with consistent practice and mock tests are the perfect platform to practice and try different strategies.

What are you waiting for?

Start taking mock tests, analyse & work on your weak areas. Take one/two mock test(s) per day. What is more important than taking a mock test is to review it.

There are several mock tests available where you can take the first test free. If satisfied, you can buy the remaining package. We hope these tips would definitely aid you in your preparation.
