Step 1 – Multiplication of 1’s values and 4’s values.
3 × 2 = 6 and 1 × 6 = 6 (if the number exceeds to 9,
then add them to make a single digit, as 10 = 1)
Step 2 – Addition 6 + 6 = 12 (exceeds 9, then 12 = 1 + 2 =
3)
Step 3 – Difference between 4 & 3 and 4 & 4.
Step 4 – Difference.

6-10:

Step 1 – Addition of 1’s values and 4’s values. As-
3 + 8 = 11 (exceeds 9, then add. 11 = 1 + 1 =2) and 1 + 5 =
6. S0, 2, 6 and so on.
Step 2 – Addition of first place values of step 1, 2 + 5 + 5
= 12, 6+7+2 = 15
Step 3 – Difference 2 – 1 = 1 and 5 – 1 = 4.  1, 4
Step 4 – Addition of step 3.
