IBPS Clerk 2014 – Analysis and Prediction

Exam Analysis of 6 December, 2014 IBPS Clerk (Both Shifts) :


Reasoning: According to the candidates, reasoning was moderately easier than expected. It was bit tough at times but not high level. Syllogisms, Seating Arrangements and Puzzles were easier than expected.


Quantitative Aptitude: Quantitative Aptitude was moderately easy. Although it was totally on time management but it was not too lengthy. Series, Simplification, DI, Average, Partnership sums were common in the paper.


English Language: Candidates were happy to say that English was very easy. Those had a basic grip easily performed well. English had very easy error, cloze tests.


General Awareness: General Awareness came 80% from our Current Affairs and Banking Awareness Magazine. There were questions from the month of November, 2014. Banking awareness was very basic.


Computer Awareness: It was totally easy, said most of the candidates. It mostly had full-forms and very very basic questions.




Prediction for the Remaining Examinations :


Reasoning : Reasoning “was” easy that clearly does not mean that it will be easy or easier than today. So best thing to do is that, prepare like the way you are preparing. Expect it to be easy but don’t divert your concentration.


Quantitative Aptitude: Quantitative Aptitude can be little time consuming, so it will be best if you are prompt while solving the questions. Data Interpretation will be very basic but can be a little bit lengthy.


English Language: English was “easy” but you must have the basic grammatical knowledge to find the english language “easy”. Moreover, English sometimes can be very tricky. So its best you hold the basic grab in English Grammar. Don’t worry about tough comprehensions as they are usually easy.


General Awareness: General awareness including Banking Awareness was comparatively easy. So its better to revise the Current Affairs Magazine which we have given. Make sure you have read the whole November Month Current Affairs.


Computer Awareness: Computer awareness will be easy if you have the basics. No need to learn indepth questions and boggle your mind. Just have the basic grip and you will find it easy.


The key factor is calmness and time-management. Do the things at first which are easy and be careful while submitting answers.
