How much to attempt in SBI ASSOCIATE PO 2014

Hello and welcome to ExamPundit. SBI Associate PO was held on 9th November in 2 shifts. After talking with loads of Aspirants and understanding the standard of the question paper we have decided to predict a safe score for the remaining exams.

Reasoning : Reasoning was moderate but not tricky neither lengthy. It was not as tough as SBI PO 2014. So expect moderate questions for the remaining exams. Reasoning can be scoring easily if you pay heed. So keep calm and attempt wisely.

Data Interpretation and Data Analysis : DI/DA was lengthy and time consuming but not at all hard like SBI PO. It had a lot of tricky and time consuming problems. Overall, it was moderately tougher than the others. So learn time management and do it with calmness.

English Language : According to the students, English language was way easier than expected. It was the easiest part ( they have a moderate hold on Basic English). If you are very weak in english then it might be moderately tougher for you but still it was Easy according to most. So if you have the Basic English in your Grip ( You Should by this time ) then it will be much easier for you to score in this section.

General Awareness and Computer : General Awareness was full of FOREX questions, Banking Awareness and Abbreviations, however there were normal Current Affairs questions also but they were pretty easy. So if you are having in-depth knowledge on Banking Awareness then it will be easy for you to score. Computer was very basic and easy so we can say you should score maximum out of it.

Descriptive Paper : It was easy but the time given was too short for attempting all, said most of the aspirants. According to them, time management plays the lead role in this section as you have to write as fast as possible to have time for a review. Manage time and score good.

Safe Score To Attempt :

Reasoning : 30

Data Interpretation and Data Analysis : 25

English Language : 35

General Awareness : 35

Descriptive : 50

170/250 on Total and 125/200 without the Descriptive Paper.

This is a predicted SAFE Score for the exam as it was overall easier than expected.

All the best.

Regards
