Exam Review – SBI PO Prelims – 3 July, 2016



Hello and welcome to exampundit . So today’s SBI PO Prelims was similar to yesterday and it was filled with hard puzzles. Almost every review mentioned about puzzles. So here is the review.

English:
English was Easy mostly. The question standard was similar to July
2nd.
Questions came from:
  • Cloze test
  • Error
    Correction
  • Para Jumble
    aka Sentence Rearrangements
  • Double fillers
  • Comprehension
Level – Easy Mostly
Quantitative Aptitude:
Quantitative Aptitude section was similar to yesterday having
calculative questions. Although they were attemptable, but definitely took some
extra time.
Questions came from:
  1. Data
    Interpretation (Bar and Tabular based)
  2. Number
    Series(Missing Number)
  3. Approximation
  4. Quadratic
    Equations
  5. Probability
  6. Simple
    interest
  7. Profit &
    Loss
  8. Age
There was NO MISSING DATA DI AS USUAL

Reasoning Ability:
The puzzles literally puzzled everyone. Reasoning was hot topic for
this weekend because of the amount of hard puzzles came in the exam.
Questions were mainly from:
  • Direction
  • Blood relation
  • Puzzle Test – TOUGH
  • Inequalities
  • Ranking
There was No syllogism
Level TOUGH
The average attempt varied between 52 to 59 regardless of any
shift.
Advice for upcoming shifts:
  1. Time
    management is the key.
  2. Follow all the fighter’s puzzle test for improvement
  3. Quantitative
    Aptitude needs speedy calculation & ability to analyse the problem
    better
