The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is an agency under the Department of Defence Research and Development in Ministry of Defence of the Government of India. RAC undertakes various recruitment programmes to induct Scientists each year in variety of scientific and engineering disciplines relevant to DRDO.

DRDO GTRE Apprentice Recruitment 2021 Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit:
Candidates Age Limit should be Minimum 18 years for all categories as on the date of 5th January 2021.
Maximum Age Limit Mentioned for below categories:
UR – 27 years
OBC – 30 years
SC/ ST – 32 years
PWD – 37 years

Educational Qualification:
Graduate Apprentice Trainees: A degree in engineering or technology granted by a statutory University/ Institution.
Diploma Apprentice Trainees: A diploma in engineering or technology granted by statutory University/ Institution.
ITI Apprentice Trainees: A certificate in vocational Course involving two years of study after the completion of the secondary stage of school education recognised by the All India Council for Technical education.
DRDO GTRE Apprentice Recruitment 2021 Selection Process:
- Graduate Apprentice Trainees (B.E/B.Tech./Equivalent); Diploma Apprentice Trainees/ ITI Apprentice Trainees: Depending upon the vacancies available in various disciplines, selection of candidates will be carried out by short listing on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying DRDO exam.
- Details of shortlisted candidates will be published in DRDO website. Candidates are advised to check regularly on the website for DRDO Jobs update.
DRDO RAC Recruitment 2021 Apply online:
- Candidates can apply for the DRDO RAC GTRE Apprentice Recruitment 2021 via online.
- Applications are to be submitted online through the following website/link:
rac.gov.in or drdo.gov.in . - Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training or at present undergoing apprenticeship training under any organization are not eligible to apply.
- Those candidates who have completed the qualifying examination as regular candidates are only eligible to apply.
