  • Bharosa savings account offers Rs 5 lakh personal accident insurance on maintaining balance of Rs 500.

Udhampur district of J&K organized the first women-only marathon against drug addiction

US company TI to set up research lab at NIT in Trichy

  • Texas Instruments (TI), a US company, engaged in the design and development of semiconductors and software will set up a hi-tech, cutting edge research lab at National Institute of Technology (NIT) in Trichy, Tamilnadu.
  • It envisages joint R&D projects over a period of three years for the development of new technologies in various engineering domains.
  • The MoU in this regard was inked recently, in the presence of Director, NIT Trichy, Dr Mini Shaji Thomas and India University Programme Director, Sanjay Srivastav.
  • As a part of the MoU, TI will deliver products and EVMs worth USD 25,000.

  • The 350-metre-tall 17-storey Lotus Tower, located in the heart of Colombo city, comprises a television tower, a hotel, a telecommunications museum, restaurants, auditorium, an observation deck, a shopping mall and a conference centre.

  • The film explains about the issue of migration of people from villages, especially from the remote villages in the Garhwal and Kumaon regions of Uttarakhand.
