Hello and welcome to ExamPundit. Here is an AWESOME STRATEGY shared by Aries Fire to Prepare MATHS for both Banking and SCC CGL. Hats off!
COMBINED CHAPTERS Part a arithmetic
part b mensuration part c algebra ( quadratic equation ) part d data interpretation part e sequence and series | SSC CGLE MATHS CHAPTERS Part a geometry Part b trigonometry and height & distance Part c algebra ( linear equation) | BANKING/ INSURANCE MATHS CHAPTERS
—- data interpretation ( mainly calculative) ——- quadratic equation or equation and inequations ( only comparison) |
First thing try to make one study plan for one subject . almost every examination maths pattern are same , only 1 to 4 chapters are different , so only for these particular chapters we make new strategy this is not a smart approach . ( aise toh saal mai 10 baar maths ki strategy hi banana padegi to study kab karenge aur implement kab ).
Now move to approach
Have u seen shopkeeper , they calculate their profit or loss within second or calculate large numbers within minute , interesting fact is that they calculate without any formulae of mathematics , why simple they use their practical knowledge , they use very simple approach instead of formulae and with regular uses shopkeeper mind work as small calculator.
Same way we have to develop or pressure our mind to work more practically instead of formulae.
First of all we have to use famous technique KISS mean KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID , yeah why difficult question as we know simple one is also in examination paper , why depend on formulae as our mind calculate within second without formulae and lot of examples so try to solve maths paper as simple as possible.
Note : i know this kiss technique or practical approach take some time but once u perfect maths never be headache for you , because may be u forget formulae but u can’t forget this approach .( because in this approach u use formulae but in practical way)
Part a arithmetic approach
Level 1 Start from basic ( if u really not comfortable with maths start with ncert class 7, 8 ,9 ,10 )
Level 2 solve questions with different approach or with different shortcuts , and last try to create one approach with
the help of your shortcuts.
Level 4 make a note book of your own approach/ formulae.
Level 3 now only practice from previous year papers ( ssc and banks) and quizzes , mocks.
Books : arihant fast track objective arithmetic or sarvesh kumar verma CAT ( beneficial if u also planning to give higher examination ) and m tyra
Kiran maths previous years chapterwise solved papers ( ssc and banking) very important because ssc habit of repeating questions and help in analysing question pattern of banking examination.
Part b mensuration approach
Only depends on formulae , clear your basics from ncert books and then any above book , that after practice as much as possible . this is very interesting part of maths put formulae and get answer.( yeah ghar banana wale thekedaar or property dealer toh bina formulae ke hi second bhar mai area , uski price , tiles, wagare wagare nikal dete hain hume pe toh phir bhi hamare formulae hain)
part c algebra ( quadratic equation ) + Part c algebra ( linear equation) + quadratic equation or equation and inequations ( only comparison) approach
again work on formulae and some techniques ,
clear your basics from ncert books , then above books combination and then practice from previous years papers. try to more focus on quadratic equations
part d data interpretation + data interpretation ( mainly calculative) approach
first of all try to play with numbers ( means series , sudoko , calculation) as much as possible
50 % DI question solve with your way of observation, try to practice that your eyes identify the pattern of question.
Make strong hold on average , percentage , ratio, and profit and loss and calculation of big numbers most important .
( jitna aap numbers ke saath dosti karenge utna hi aapka series and DI pe command badega)
Part a geometry approach
Ssc mainly ask traditional geometry questions so
First clear ur basics from ncert books or directly use above books
Then only solve previous year questions ( u can also practice from cdse previous year papers)
Try to focus on triangles and circles
Part b trigonometry and height & distance approach
First clear your basic from ncert book and then above books
Learn identities table because mainly question directly solved with the help of identities.
If u not comfortable with trigonometry then only concentrate on height and distance.
Practice from previous year papers as much as possible.
You no need to learn all chapters just select few chapters and make strong grip on it. Select chapters as your interest and your comfort.
NOTE:
- Almost in every examination maths standard are upto class 10 ( class 10 tak toh sabne maths padi hoti hai )
- Previous year papers are most important because ssc mainly repeating the question.
- No need of separate strategy for maths for separate examination .
- Maths is not like current affairs which you have to prepare every month, once prepare sincerely and crack you every examination .
“”Please apne mind se yeah baat nikaal dain ki mai maths nahi kar sakta , mera maths background nahi hai , ssc/ banking mai mostly selection rural background/hindi medium walo ke hi hote hain . kyunki wo use chhez pe focus karte hain jo unke paas hai ,na ki uspe rote hain jo unke pass nahi hai.”” ( this is not an example , this is reality you believe or not)
IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO LEARN, NO ONE CAN HELP YOU
IF YOU ARE DETERMINED TO LEARN, NO ONE CAN STOP YOU.
