for RRB NTPC Exam 2016.

Firstly, this year, the exam will be Online for the first
time ever. So, those who have an experience, will definitely have an advantage.
Now lets get started!!
Arithmetic:
For Arithmetic, you need to prepare from Basics to Advanced level of problems.
Average, Simple and Compound Interest, Percentage and Time & Work related
problems are the most important in this exam. No need to study Probability or
Permutation & Combinations. Go through all the chapters of arithmetic and
practice daily.
Important things to cover in Arithmetic:

  3. Time and Work
  4. Percentage (Advanced Level)
  5. Simple Interest
  6. Compound Interest
  7. Ratio & Proportion
  8. Numbers
  9. Basic to Normal Simplifications
  10. Allegation & Mixtures (Advanced Level)
  11. Boats and Streams
  12. Discount
  13. Profit and Loss

General
Awareness:
We will provide a separate post
regarding the general awareness. However, you need to study the basics of
General Knowledge along with General Science.
There can be 2-3 major current affairs related questions. So
study them too.
Important chapters in General Awareness:
  1. Indian Economy
  2. General Science (Advanced level)
  3. History
  4. Indian Constitution (Very Important)
  5. Geography (Basic to Standard Level)
  6. Stock GKs related to Place, Person, Sports and Others

General Intelligence and Reasoning: Both the tests are
similar in nature but the GI test is slightly different. The reasoning test is
similar to CHSL and CGL, so prepare like that. On the other hand, General
Intelligence will have Analogies and problems related to English Language to
some extent.

  3. Blood Relation Problems
  4. Age Related Problems
  5. Direction Test
  6. Clock Based Problems
  7. Coding and Decoding
