Puzzle 1:
Eight friends – P. Q, R, S, T U;
V and W are sitting around a circular table not necessarily in the same order.
Three of them are facing outside (opposite to the centre) while five are facing
the centre. There are equal number of males and females in the group. R is
facing the centre. T is sitting third to the right of R. U is sitting third to
the left of T. Three persons are sitting between U and Q. The immediate
neighbours of Q are females. V is sitting third to the right of U. S is sitting
third to the right of P. P is not an immediate neighbour of T. The immediate
neighbours of T are males and are facing the centre. The immediate neighbours
of S are females and face outside. The one sitting third to the left of Q is a
male. No female is an immediate neighbour of V.
Puzzle 2:
B, C, D, E. F. G, H and I are
sitting in a straight line equidistant Tom each other (but not necessarily in
the same order). Some of them are facing south while some are facing north.
Facing the same direction means, if one is facing north then the other is also facing
north and vice versa. Facing the opposite directions means if one is facing north
then the other is facing south and vice versa. B sits third to the left of D. I
faces north. D sits at one of the extreme ends of the line. E is not an
immediate neighbour of D. H sits third to the right of B. C sits on the
immediate right of H. C does not sit at any of the extreme ends of the line.
Only one person sits between G and E. H sits second to the left of G. F sits second
to the right of C. Both the immediate neighbours of H face the same direction.
Both the immediate neighbours of B face the opposite directions. F faces the
same direction as C. D faces the same direction as I.

Puzzle 3:
Eight persons – A.. B, C, D, E.
F. G and H belonging to the same family are sitting around a circular table
facing the centre but not necessarily in the same order. The following
information is given about their seating arrangement.
(i) B’s only daughter and G’s son
are sitting adjacent to each other.
(ii) A’s son-in-law is B who is
the father-in-law of C.
(iii) B’s daughter is the sister
of G’s son who sits opposite D’s wife.
(iv) Only one person sits between
B’s son and A’s only daughter.
(v) F is a female whose grand-daughter
is C’s wife. F sits adjacent to her husband who sits opposite A’s daughter.

(vi) E’s sister-in-law’ sits third
to the left of C’s wife and C is not adjacent to any male.
