Mentions:
The candidates shall be required to qualify in each test as
per cut-off marks determined on the basis of performance
in each test and also on total weighted score.
THERE WILL BE PENALTY FOR WRONG ANSWER MARKED BY YOU IN THE
OBJECTIVE TESTS
Reasoning Ability:
Firstly, its a Officer Scale Exam not an Assistant/Clerk Level. So expect the
questions to be good in standard. For reasoning, you need to focus on Puzzle
and Seating Arrangements along with Syllogisms.
Syllogisms are expected to be tricky. So make sure you are
practicing on a regular basis.
On the other hand, Puzzles and Seating Arrangements can be
lengthy and tricky. You really need to practice lengthy and tricky puzzles to
ace.
The other portions of this test is expected to be Moderate
but not very tough. As per the PO standard.
English Language:
The English test is expected to be Standard to Moderate but not very tough. You
need to practice comprehensions, specially the lengthy ones which can be found
in our site. Comprehension can and will fetch you a lot of marks. On the other hand,
vocabulary and grammar will play crucial role. So make sure you are practice
Error Corrects and Vocabularies properly.
Quantitative Aptitude: Quantitative Aptitude
is expected to be Tough. Yes, Tough as in Calculative and Lengthy. So you need
to practice simplification to solve the issues of calculation and time
management. On the other hand, Arithmetic needs to practiced precisely. There
will be Data Interpretation and they are expected to be moderate level. Time
Management is the key in Quantitative Aptitude but only with calmness. If you
are not able to solve any question, just move on to the next one and leave it
for the end.
General Awareness:
The General Awareness has changed a lot. You need to focus on Stock GKs
a lot. We have already provided a list containing Important Stock GK Topics. On
the other hand, Schemes are crucial for the IBPS RRB. All Schemes recently
launched by the Union Government are important. You need to study the features
of the schemes and also outaly and deadlines. You need Current Affairs from
June 20 to August 26(Yesterday). We will be providing 2 more PDFs regarding the
General Awarenss for IBPS RRB Officer Scale I. Expect the GA Test to be
moderate level(If you are weak) or normal level(If you are practicing).
Computer Knowledge: Basic
Computer questions are necessary. No need to go deep down. Just focus on the
basic questions mainly, Acronyms. On the other hand, Networking, Peripherals
and Questions related to Shortcuts are important. Overall, expect Computer to
be easy.
All over, expect the exam to be Moderate.
