Exam Review – SBI Clerk Prelims – 22 May 2016



Hello and welcome to exampundit .So, today was the very first day
of the first ever SBI Clerk Prelims. There was lots tension about this exam as
nobody had idea about it. However, it turned out to be easier than expected.

We have gathered all the reviews
from 4 shifts of 22nd May, 2016 and now providing you a consolidated
review of SBI Clerk Prelims 2016.
Exam Review – There was no mixed reviews today. All the reviews
were positive and clearly stated that the exam was Easy. Those who have been
preparing for LIC AAO, UIIC AO and SBI PO found it very very easy. The
reasoning was the easiest as per the reviews. There was no Syllogisms, the
questions were very easy. The blood relation, coding-decoding problems were
very easy. Puzzles were also easy.
The questions quantitative
aptitude were from Data Interpretation, Simple-Compound Interest problems,
number series, time and distance, boats and streams were also easy. However,
there was a few reviews which stated, quantitative aptitude was slightly
calculative, but that actually did not matter. English was also very easy.
There were reading comprehension questions where the article was not lengthy.
There were few feedbacks where some took a little time solving the sentence
rearrangements. Overall, the exam was very easy.
Average Attempt – Regardless of any state, shift, category,
the average attempt was between 74 to 82.

Trending Topic(s) – The trending topics of the first day was #NoSyllogism and #TimeManagement. No syllogism questions was a big surprise for
everyone. On the other hand, one could easily attempt a lot if he was having a
proper time management strategy.
Verdict – The exam was easy, but the aspirants appearing next
week should not take it for granted. We have seen how the standard changes
overnight. Moreover it is SBI’s exam. So be prepared for moderate level
problems. Another key to score maximum is speed.
So what you should keep in mind?
  1. Solve Puzzles Fast
  2. Increase your speed
  3. Make sure you attempt as much as
    possible
  4. Expect a little higher level to
    be on the safe side

question will win the race!
