Solutions – Change the question tag from ‘is not it ?’ to ‘hadn’t he ?’ Refer to rule no. 2.

Solutions – Delete ‘with’. The idiom is ‘bag and baggage’ and hence should be used as such. 









7. Pages after pages 1)/ of 2)/ the Mahabharat 3) / were read. 4) No error 5)

Solutions – Change ‘pages after pages’ to ‘page after page’. 





8. What to 1)/ speak of milk 2)/ even simple food 3)/was not available there. 4) No error 5)

Solutions – Change ‘what to’ to ‘Not to’. 





9. At his sight 1)/ she trembled 2)/ with 3)/ fear and felt nervous. 4) No error 5)

Solutions – Change ‘At his sight’ to ‘At the sight of him’. 





10. Good night, 1)/ I am very 2)/ glad 3)/ to meet you. 4) No error 5)

Solutions –  Change ‘Good night’ to ‘Good evening’. ‘Good night’ is used while parting.
