7 Things to Keep in Mind for Bank PO/Clerk Interview

Hello and welcome to ExamPundit. After a brief meeting with a retired Branch Manager she told some important behavioral ethics you should maintain while appearing in a Bank Clerk or PO Interview.

1. Positive Attitude: Positivity always attracts people, be it in
School, College or Workplace. You must maintain a Positive Attitude towards the
interview. Especially she said, when HR ask you about YOUR WEAKNESS, you should
be giving an example of a Weakness which you have overcome.
2. Good Communication
Skills:
 It is very
important for the Banking Sector as you will be dealing with customers on a
regular basis. So be pleasant and make sure you don’t stammer while replying to
the questions.

Note: Good
Communication Skills does not mean Talkative Attitude.
3. Clarity of
Statements:
Make sure you don’t answer in such way that
they have to ask you again to clarify your statement. Make your every answer
precise, so that they don’t need to ask you anymore on the topic.
4. Realistic Approach: When we asked her, what can be Realistic
Approach, she simply replied “Practicality”. Now, you should not
answer in such way which will seem impossible. For eg. if the HR asks you about
your commitment to work, you should be answering in a practical way, where your
family will also be there. Nobody on earth is a WORKAHOLIC who DOES NOT CARE
ABOUT FAMILY or PERSONAL Growth.
5. Flexibility: Banking Sector is
always a pain in the head. So you gotta be flexible to blend in. You might face
many challenges in your workplace where your flexibility will be challenged. So
you have to have an approach towards the HR where your flexibility will
reflect.
6. Be Honest, Accept
Mistakes:
 Be honest
to some extent. If you don’t know any answer, you can say you don’t know rather
than making up a wrong answer. If you have done a mistake while answering any
questions, accept it. Never Argue with the HR/Panel.
7. Well Groomed Look: Don’t
keep beard. Always be shaved and clean. Don’t use Perfumes. Wear only the
clothes you are comfortable with. Don’t wear anything fancy or excessive
formal.

All the best for your Interview. Do well.
