3 Important Points for IBPS RRB V OS-I Prelims Exam

Hello and welcome to exampundit . Yesterday IBPS activated the link to download IBPS RRB OS-I Call Letters. So decided to give you a little insight on the new pattern of the RRB Prelims.

Here are 3 Important Points for IBPS RRB V OS-I Prelims Exam

1) New & Unique Time Management for IBPS RRB: Since IBPS has changed the pattern to a completely different and new one, all of you have to adjust and make a new time-management strategy. Now let us see the difference between previous prelims patterns and the new one.

Previous pattern: 60 Minutes, 100 Questions i.e 36 seconds/questions. Usually People have allotted 25 minutes each for 2 and 10 for 1 or 20 each for all in the previous pattern.

Now lets see the new pattern,
45 minutes, 80 questions i.e 33.75 seconds per questions.

In the new pattern, you can allot 22 minutes each for Quantitative & Reasoning or 25 – 20 to both.

2) New Strategy: Since there is NO ENGLISH in IBPS RRB V, you have to manage a lot of time. Earlier many of you could easily attempt Cloze Tests, Fillers and Vocabs in English which saved quite a lot of time. But now, things are different since both of the tests are calculative. The speed will be tested of each and everyone of you.

However, don’t expect the question to be either IBPS PO or SBI PO level or very easy level.

3) DON’T EVEN THINK OF ANY CUT-OFF: Since the PATTERN IS TOTALLY NEW, don’t even compare this exam with any of the previous ones. Depending on cut-off not only affects your preparation, it also creates a false panic inside you.

All the best!

May the force be with you!
